Steel Arteries is a visualization of freight truck activity in the Big Apple, built on the synthetic dataset created in the 2023 paper "Quantifying and Visualizing City Truck Route Network Efficiency Using a Virtual Testbed" by Davis III et al. These are the trucks and the drivers that make the city run.

To the original researchers: thank you for creating such a rich dataset, and thank you for sharing it with the world!
